Originally from Russia, I moved to the United States in 2002 and settled down in Brooklyn for a while, making my work in a couple of studios. My husband and I decided to move upstate to the magnificent Catskills area, where I worked out of my own private studio.
In 2019, I opened up Nonneta and Friends Creative, where I teach classes, run workshops, private events and create my own work.
I started working with ceramics to project my fantasy pieces into reality. The process of making something out of nothing is truly magnificent, and to see how something unique that I have made makes someone else happy is a priceless gift.
